Join us for a relaxed once off clay session where you get to try the potters wheel and see what all the fuss is about. This afternoon workshop is an easy way to dip your hands into the world of wheel throwing without any pressure in a playful and welcoming space. Our experienced facilitator, Val, will begin with a clear step by step demonstration that shows the rhythm of wheel throwing. Once you have seen the movements, you will settle at your wheel and try your hand at making a simple cylinder or two. Cancellation Policy
Enrollment in workshops, classes and courses is limited. • If notice of cancellation is received more than 5 days before the workshop/class/course the fee will be refunded • Refunds will not be issued for cancellations received less than 4 business days before the program begins unless that space can be filled. NO REFUND is issued in the event you cancel or do not show up on the start date. • In the event of emergency/illness, send an alternative person in your place. mail us the name and email address of that person. Alternatively, if notice is given and there is a person on a waiting list that can fill your space a full refund will be given. • Classes, courses and series requires a weekly commitment for a number of consecutive weeks. Catch-ups cannot be accommodated for foundation courses as too much will be missed out. Check dates carefully. • Clay Hands reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a workshop/class/course due to low enrolment or other unforeseen circumstances.
