Join our Studio Membership Program

Make the new light-filled wing of our Clay Hands studio your creative home.

Clay Circle is designed for makers who’ve completed a foundation course (or equivalent) and want to continue building at their own rhythm - surrounded by community, music, and the quiet hum of making.

Whether you hand-build, throw on the wheel, or a bit of both, Clay Circle offers flexible access to the studio, plus all the good stuff that keeps the creative flow alive.

Monthly Memberships

Memberships run on a rolling basis with a minimum 2-month initial sign-up.

After that, you can continue month-to-month — no re-enrolment needed.

Your fees cover access to the studio during your package hours, use of glazes, tools, equipment, and resources.

STUDIO ACCESS

Flexible hours, fair use

Come and go as it suits you within the hours of your chosen package. This space is seperate to our teaching wing.

Shared studio, your own shelf

Our studio is shared, with bays available on a first-come, first-served basis unless you’ve booked a Full Circle membership. Each member still has their own shelf and cubby to store work, tools, and clay.

Small and focused

With five bays, we keep it cozy — a maximum of five makers can work at once, ensuring space to move, create, and focus.

Each member has:

  • Their own shelf to store work and tools

  •  A work bay with a designated hand building table and wheel

  • Access to shared dip glazes and firing services

  • Use of communal tools

  • Coffee, tea, and the occasional biscuit on the house :)

Clay Circle is about freedom, belonging, and easy flow.
It’s not a private studio, but a shared circle  a place where your practice
deepens alongside others."

Frequently Asked Questions

Are Clay Circle sessions taught classes?

No, sessions are for independent making. Members work at their own pace, exploring hand building, wheel throwing, and glazing within the studio. If you need a class check here.

Do I need an induction?

Yes, all members complete a short studio induction before their first session. This helps you get oriented, find your shelf, and understand the studio systems so everyone can work smoothly together.

How are fees billed?

Membership fees are billed monthly. The first payment is due before your start date, and ongoing payments are due on the 1st of each month.

Can I carry over unused hours?

No, unused hours don’t carry over. We encourage you to make the most of your studio time each month.

Can I mix full and half days with the Half Circle membership?

At the moment, the 8 days per month for Half Circle run in full-day blocks rather than half days. This helps us manage space and bookings smoothly and keeps things simple for everyone.
