Term 3, 2025 – Wednesday Morning Intermediate Pottery 📅 23 Jul - 17 Sept (9 sessions*) ⏰ Wednesdays, 9:30AM – 12:30PM 🏺 R4185 or pay in 2 instalments of R2220 *No Class on Heritage Day 24 September Our Wednesday morning class is designed for intermediate students who have already completed at least one pottery course. This is a more advanced space for those ready to build on their foundational skills with expert guidance from Tash. However, if Wednesday is the only day available to you, please feel free to email natasha@clayhands.co.za to discuss beginner entry to this class :) ✨ INTERMEDIATE CLASS FOCUS: HAND BUILDING: - Build on your existing skills with more complex forms and techniques - Explore advanced surface decoration, texture work, and sculptural elements - Perfect for refining your personal style and artistic expression - 13 spaces available at the hand-building tables WHEEL THROWING: - Develop beyond basic centering and cylinder forms - Learn advanced techniques for creating larger forms, sets, and complex shapes - Focus on refinement, consistency, and personal style development - Limited to 8 wheels per class NOTE FOR NEW STUDENTS: This class requires previous pottery experience. If you're new to clay, please join our beginner-friendly classes on Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday evenings, or Friday or Saturday mornings. ✨ What's Included: - Personalized guidance to advance your individual pottery journey - Inclusive fee covering firing, underglazes & access to our dip-glaze library - 90cm private shelf for work-in-progress - 5kg of clay per term (extra available at a student discount) 📢 Studio Guidelines: - Respect & Creativity: A collaborative space - Catch-ups: Must be scheduled within the term—please give 24 hours' notice if missing a class - Storage: Items are kept for 2 months after you leave - Refunds: No refunds within 5 business days of term start unless we fill your spot - Parking & Security: Roger, our friendly security guard, will help you park on Victoria Road and walk you to/from your car

Cancellation Policy
Enrollment in workshops, classes and courses is limited. • If notice of cancellation is received more than 5 days before the workshop/class/course the fee will be refunded • Refunds will not be issued for cancellations received less than 4 business days before the program begins unless that space can be filled. NO REFUND is issued in the event you cancel or do not show up on the start date. • In the event of emergency/illness, send an alternative person in your place. mail us the name and email address of that person. Alternatively, if notice is given and there is a person on a waiting list that can fill your space a full refund will be given. • Classes, courses and series requires a weekly commitment for a number of consecutive weeks. Catch-ups cannot be accommodated for foundation courses as too much will be missed out. Check dates carefully. • Clay Hands reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a workshop/class/course due to low enrolment or other unforeseen circumstances.
