Details

Make a bowl by weaving coils of clay together. Either weave tightly to create a water-tight bowl with a smooth inside and beautiful, intricate weave pattern on the outside or weave loosely to create a basket bowl. We will be working into bowl moulds to contain the weaving but this project is open to interpretation and a loose invitation to explore the theme of weaving.. if you'd rather make a smooth bowl you are welcome to. Valeria will be guiding this workshop and giving a step-by-step demonstration of the technique. All levels of clay experience welcome (beginner friendly). R580, all inclusive. Tea/coffee and light refreshments served. Items glazed and fired for you, ready for collection 6 weeks later.
