Make a bowl by weaving coils of clay together. Either weave tightly to create a water-tight bowl with a smooth inside and beautiful, intricate weave pattern on the outside or weave loosely to create a basket bowl. We will be working into bowl moulds to contain the weaving but this project is open to interpretation and a loose invitation to explore the theme of weaving.. if you'd rather make a smooth bowl you are welcome to. Valeria will be guiding this workshop and giving a step-by-step demonstration of the technique. All levels of clay experience welcome (beginner friendly). R600, all inclusive. Tea/coffee and light refreshments served. Items glazed and fired for you, ready for collection 6 weeks later.

Cancellation Policy
Enrollment in workshops, classes and courses is limited. • If notice of cancellation is received more than 5 days before the workshop/class/course the fee will be refunded • Refunds will not be issued for cancellations received less than 4 business days before the program begins unless that space can be filled. NO REFUND is issued in the event you cancel or do not show up on the start date. • In the event of emergency/illness, send an alternative person in your place. mail us the name and email address of that person. Alternatively, if notice is given and there is a person on a waiting list that can fill your space a full refund will be given. • Classes, courses and series requires a weekly commitment for a number of consecutive weeks. Catch-ups cannot be accommodated for foundation courses as too much will be missed out. Check dates carefully. • Clay Hands reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a workshop/class/course due to low enrolment or other unforeseen circumstances.
