Mothers day edition: A wonderful to way to spend a morning (especially with a mama) getting crafty with porcelain clay. Pure white porcelain lends itself beautifully to capturing the glow of a candle flame as it can be worked very thin, allowing light through once fired. Enjoy pressing texture into slabs of porcelain clay to create interesting planes of light and dark for these translucent wares. We start this relaxing morning workshop with a demonstration on how to make these simple but effective cylindrical forms and the rest of the time participants explore creative surface design. Valeria will be guiding this workshop. All levels of clay experience welcome (beginner friendly). R600, all inclusive. Tea/coffee and delicious light refreshments served. Items ready for collection 6 - 8 weeks later.

Cancellation Policy

Enrollment in workshops, classes and courses is limited. • If notice of cancellation is received more than 5 days before the workshop/class/course the fee will be refunded • Refunds will not be issued for cancellations received less than 4 business days before the program begins unless that space can be filled. NO REFUND is issued in the event you cancel or do not show up on the start date. • In the event of emergency/illness, send an alternative person in your place. mail us the name and email address of that person. Alternatively, if notice is given and there is a person on a waiting list that can fill your space a full refund will be given. • Classes, courses and series requires a weekly commitment for a number of consecutive weeks. Catch-ups cannot be accommodated for foundation courses as too much will be missed out. Check dates carefully. • Clay Hands reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a workshop/class/course due to low enrolment or other unforeseen circumstances.
