T3 Friday mornings wheel foundations

Embark on a journey into the art of the potters wheel with our comprehensive foundations class. With ample guided practice time on the wheel, you'll gain confidence and proficiency in forming shapes with clay over the 10 week program. Learn to wedge, throw and trim cylinders, master the intricacies of crafting beautiful bowl forms, learn to pull and attach handles, and bring your creations to life with finishing and glazing. Our experienced instructor, Sikho, will be there every step of the way, providing guidance and personalized feedback to help you refine your craftsmanship. By the end of this class, you'll have a solid foundation in wheel throwing and be equipped with the skills to create stunning pottery pieces. > 9 weeks with sessions every Friday morning 9:30am - 12:30pm (except on Friday 9th August, no class on public holidays) > Become familiar with some of the foundational wheel throwing techniques required for forming shapes on the wheel; • throwing and trimming cylinders • bowl forms • pulling handles • and glazing > Class is for a group of 6 > Fee is all inclusive of clay + firing + paints + glazes + studio time > One catch-up class offered (in our regular classes, so the lesson missed is lost but students can make up time to practice in the studio)

Cancellation Policy

Enrollment in workshops, classes and courses is limited. • If notice of cancellation is received more than 5 days before the workshop/class/course the fee will be refunded • Refunds will not be issued for cancellations received less than 4 business days before the program begins unless that space can be filled. NO REFUND is issued in the event you cancel or do not show up on the start date. • In the event of emergency/illness, send an alternative person in your place. mail us the name and email address of that person. Alternatively, if notice is given and there is a person on a waiting list that can fill your space a full refund will be given. • Classes, courses and series requires a weekly commitment for a number of consecutive weeks. Catch-ups cannot be accommodated for foundation courses as too much will be missed out. Check dates carefully. • Clay Hands reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a workshop/class/course due to low enrolment or other unforeseen circumstances.
